Mountain Fire Protection is solely owned and operated by
Blue Mountains local, David Cameron.

David is a local of over 50 years and he has lived through and experienced the: 1968 fires when only eight years old; the 1977 fires as a teenager; the 1994 and 2001 fires impacted on his home in Yellow Rock; and the worst fires in Blue Mountains history the 2013 fires which destroyed parts of Winmalee and Yellow Rock. In Davids words, after being in the eye of the fire, "How anybody didn't die....", amazingly the mountains worst fires failed to claim a life.
